Payment Information - Payment, Pricing & Promotions

HOW CAN I PAY

We accept Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Switch/Maestro and Solo through our secure online payment system with HSBC BANK. Our payment gateway is Global Iris/HSBC. No payment details are taken on Cotswold Logs Online website.
Payments by credit card, debit card, bank transfer, cheque, items will be dispatched once payments have cleared by bank transfer and cheque.
Prices for all goods are listed on the website. Prior to finalizing you will be shown the total price for the goods inclusive of VAT and any delivery charges. In the event that we have sold-out of any items you have ordered, you will be informed by phone/e-mail within 5 working days. Prices are correct at time of publication, all prices are in Great Britain Pounds Sterling.

BILLING & INVOICING - HOW IT WORKS

1. When an item is purchased from Cotswold Logs Online an invoice is automatically sent to the customer with the relevant details on, Cotswold Logs Online address, telephone contact number, customer address, any extra details on delivery access, delivery dates requested.

2. The invoice will state the payment type, cheque or credit card.

3. Our trade customers will be invoiced 28 days from the date of delivery unless other arrangements has been authorized by Cotswold Logs Online.

We take online payments for our products/services. We use Global Iris as our gateway provider and HSBC Bank as our external payment provider. We require the billing address of the credit card you use so that we can pass this to HSBC who check the address against the card holder's details for security purposes.

We don't store the credit card details on our server but we do store the billing details so that we can process renewals or so you can pay again more easily. We also use the billing details in case we need to contact you regarding payments e.g. for an outstanding invoice or failed transaction.

HSBC requires that you provide your credit card details to process the transaction. This is done on a secure HSBC server and data passing between Global Iris servers and HSBC are encrypted using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer). This allows our customers to have a positive experience through checkout procedure by submitting your information, you consent to this transfer of data between Global Iris and HSBC.
The Cotswold Logs Online website is a secure website. Every time you enter an area of the site that carries or requires sensitive information such as your credit card details, an icon resembling a padlock will appear in your browser window and turn green. We use the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). This is an indication that the site is secure.

RETURNS POLICY

If the buyer wishes to cancel the order, the seller will require the request in writing via email to sales@cotswoldlogsonline.co.uk or phone Ollie on 07748762694

Under the Distance Selling Regulations the buyer has a right to cancel their order at any time before the goods are dispatched, or within 5 days of receiving the goods. This does not affect the buyer’s statutory rights as a consumer.
The buyer has the right to refuse any delivery minus any delivery costs incurred.
The buyer is welcome to return any items using their own courier or alternatively the seller can offer a collection and return service. The cost for return transport will be quoted on request.
Cotswold Logs Online will refund the buyer’s payment with 28 days of the goods being returned.

PRIVACY & SECURITY

We respect your right to privacy. None of the information we collect is passed on to other parties, except when required as part of the business services we provide for you, or as required under UK law. In order to provide you with the full range of services on the Site, we are sometimes required to collect information about you. We will use any personal information collected from the Site in accordance with all laws and regulations relating to the protection of personal data including the Data Protection Act 1998 (as may be amended) (the Data Protection Act). Users' Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, which are automatically logged by our web server. IP addresses are numbers that can uniquely identify a specific computer or other network device on the internet and are used by us to observe users' interest in this Site (number of visits, etc).

Session cookies are also used to store information on which content, including advertisements, have been seen by a user.
